Your new role

  • Accountable for the delivery of assigned targets aligned with corporate strategic goals, KPIs and targets

  • Accountable for technical support to the Senior Engineer & COO. Demonstrate the ability to provide sound technical knowledge and accurate engineering support

  • Utilise Electrical Engineering experience to implement sound technical practices, ensure compliance, manage risk and ensure smooth wind farm operations

  • Assess asset performance data ensuring alignment with industry best practice and trends

  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Implement business policies, practices and procedures to achieve operational objectives, financial performance targets, and to ensure the safety of stakeholders, contractors and the public

  • Analyse wind farm operations and wind farm components to determine reliability, performance and compliance with specifications

  • Conduct engineering studies and investigations

  • Support and involvement in expansion project FEED design process and delivery of EPC contracts

  • Recommend changes to improve performance and reduce operational costs, or when required to comply with regulations

  • Project Manage improvement works including coordination of tenders, work prioritisation and scheduling

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Assist with the expansion project construction supervision


What you'll need to succeed

  • Electrical Engineering Degree

  • A working knowledge of maintenance and operational techniques as applied to Wind Farms or Electricity Generation assets

  • Experience in a commercial company with exposure to site operations

  • Experience in working with SCADA and side communication systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills 'risk management skills

  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations

  • Time management and organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met and actions are closed out in reasonable time-frames

  • High level of independent strategic initiative and ability to deliver optimal results with minimal oversight

  • Strong MS Office skills
